MAV have a great team of people working for us.
We operate as a tightly integrated team where everyone will do their utmost to help our customers get what they want. We have an open working relationship and encourage everyone to contribute and question all aspects of what we do – that makes for a dynamic and interesting workplace.
MAV Systems Ltd is an independent business that has always had a philosophy of maintaining a tight core of engineering, sales and support excellence whilst outsourcing as many of the overheads of the business as possible. Fundamental to this was the decision, from inception, to sell ANPR technology via a partner model where MAV would seek to achieve camera sales through building strong partnerships with system integration, software and deployment businesses around the world. In many cases, MAV has become the external camera R&D resource for our customers – one that many could not have afforded in their own right – at no direct cost. The fact that MAV never compete with our customers at the total solution / end user level is a massive attraction to our client base
MAV become fully independent in 2012 and has not looked back since. The company has been able to grow substantially in turnover and volume of products shipped. This growth has been matched with investment in a team of talented development engineers, sales and marketing and logistics staff who continue to fuel the development and production capabilities.
MAV’s drive and determination has resulted in a market leading portfolio of ANPR cameras which include the IQX, IQ, Rapier and Tailored ranges.
In Feb 2018 MAV Systems were acquired by The Traffic Group (TTG) formerly known as AGD Group Limited. The acquisition by TTG – a privately owned group of traffic-focused companies that shares MAV’s innovative technical approach and a complementary customer base – will provide a more extensive range of traffic solutions to a wider range of partners. TTG share MAV’s core values of being quality-centric in both product and service which enables further growth as a business as well as supporting the furthered success of the group as a whole.
The MAV roadmap remains concentrated on the launch of new ANPR-based products that offer new features to its integration partners. This portfolio is now augmented by speed and distance measurement technologies from the TTG group that open new ITS and enforcement opportunities worldwide.
